Dermatologists are physicians specifically trained in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of diseases involving the skin, hair and nails. Most all skin cancer exams, evaluations and surgical treatment performed nationwide is performed by dermatologist (dermasurgeons). Dr. Poole is Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, the only accredited licensing agency for Dermatology in the United States.

Board Eligibility is obtained after 3 years of extensive training and study solely in Dermatology. Board Certification is obtained after passing a rigorous 2 day, comprehensive exam. Dr. Poole received extensive training during residency in all aspects of medical dermatology, surgical dermatology (dermasurgery), cosmetic dermatology, and laser procedures. In the practice of medicine since 1993, Dr. Poole has treated thousands of patients, and continues to make a positive difference in the lives of all his patients.
